Chelsia A. Rice been writing poetry and nonfiction since computer screens were black with green type. Her essay, "Tough Enough to Float", was selected as a Notable Best American Essay in 2015. You can find her work on About.com, in The Los Angeles Review and in the recently released anthology
Untangling the Knot: Queer Voices on Marriage, Relationships & Identity. Her current work-in-progress is a book-length memoir about growing up with two mothers in a violent household. She's is also working on a memoir about that one time she had cancer. Either way, she's writing.
