Shya Scanlon

Shya Scanlon is the author of the novels Forecast, Border Run, and The Guild of Saint Cooper, and of the poetry collection In This Alone Impulse. His short stories and non-fiction have been published in the Mississippi Review, Literary Review, The Believer, Hobart, and elsewhere. He co-founded the literary magazine Monkeybicycle, and started the book review section of The Nervous Breakdown. He now curates work for The Twin Peaks Project, a series of essays and reminiscences about David Lynch’s seminal television show. Born in Maine, raised in Seattle, Shya now lives in New York City and Woodstock. He received his MFA from Brown University, where he was awarded the John Hawkes Prize in Fiction.
