Abraham Smith hails from Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Ashagalomancy, his fourth poetry collection, is new news from Action Books. With Shelly Taylor, he co-edited Hick Poetics (Lost Roads Press, 2015). Smith has been the recipient of fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center, Provincetown, MA, and the Alabama State Council on the Arts. He winters as Instructor of English at the University of Alabama; summers as farmhand at Hawks' Highland Farm.
