Andrea Thompson

Andrea Thompson is the co-author, with Jacob Lief, of I Am Because You Are, published by Rodale last spring. One of her first jobs in journalism was at the Missoula Independent; she went on to work at Vanity Fair and then The New Yorker, where she edited writers including Jerome Groopman, Connie Bruck, and Patrick Radden Keefe, and wrote and edited the Tables for Two column. Her book reviews and other nonfiction writing have appeared in The New Yorker, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the San Francisco Chronicle, among other publications. She now lives and works as a freelance editor and writer in central Connecticut.
