Charles D'Ambrosio

Charles D’Ambrosio is the author of two books of fiction, The Point and The Dead Fish Museum, which was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award, and two essay collections, Orphans and Loitering.  He’s been the recipient of a Whiting Writer’s Award and a Lannan Fellowship, among other honors, and his work has been widely anthologized and selected for the Pushcart Prize, Best American Short Stories, and the O. Henry Award. His stories and essays have appeared in The New Yorker, as well as in Tin House, The Paris Review, Zoetrope All-Story, The Stranger, and A Public Space. He teaches fiction at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
