Megan Kruse

Megan Kruse is the 2015-16 Visiting Writer for Eastern Oregon University's low-residency MFA program. She is the author of the acclaimed novel Call Me Home, released by Hawthorne Books in 2015, with an introduction by Elizabeth Gilbert. She completed an extensive national tour for the novel and was featured in the American Book Review reading series at the University of Houston-Victoria. Her work has appeared widely in journals and anthologies, including Narrative Magazine, Witness, The Sun, Psychology Today and Portland Noir (Akashic), among others. She has been the recipient of residencies from the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center in Nebraska and New York Mills in Minnesota, as well as an Oregon Literary Arts Fellowship. She holds an MFA from the University of Montana. She currently lives in Seattle.
