Gayle Morrison

Gayle Morrison has worked with the Hmong community in the U.S. for the past 38 years.  Her first book, Sky Is Falling, uses oral history to document the air evacuation of Hmong soldiers and their families from Laos in May 1975.  Her second book, Hog’s Exit: Jerry Daniels, the Hmong, and the CIA, uses oral history to explore the life and mysterious death of a CIA officer from Missoula, Montana, who worked with the Hmong in Laos during the Vietnam War.
